1. General Return Policy
Due to the specialized nature of our robotic products, AltHumans does not accept returns for reasons such as buyer's remorse, change of mind, or any other non-defective circumstances. Returns are only permitted for products with verified manufacturing defects, subject to the conditions outlined below. Please note that some robot deliveries can take from 30-90 days due to option configuration, international banking, customs and import tariffs. AltHumans works with our vendors on your behalf to get your order delivered as soon as possible.
2. Returns for Manufacturing Defects
Eligibility: Returns are accepted only for products with confirmed manufacturing defects. A manufacturing defect is defined as a fault in the robot's hardware or software that prevents it from functioning as specified by the manufacturer at the time of purchase.
Process:
Customers must contact the manufacturer directly to initiate a return or repair process for manufacturing defects. AltHumans does not assume liability for manufacturing defects due to the technical complexity of the robots.

The manufacturer will provide instructions for troubleshooting, repairs, or returns, including any required proof of defect (e.g., photos, videos, or diagnostic reports).
Timeframe: Customers must report manufacturing defects to the manufacturer within the warranty period specified by the manufacturer, typically starting from the date of delivery.
Condition: Products must be returned in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and components, as required by the manufacturer.
Costs: AltHumans does not cover return shipping costs or restocking fees for manufacturing defect returns, as these are handled by the manufacturer. Please confirm with the manufacturer regarding any associated costs.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return under any circumstances:
Products without a verified manufacturing defect.
Products damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications.
Products returned outside the manufacturer’s warranty period.
Products not in their original condition or missing components, unless due to a manufacturing defect.
4. Shipping Damage
AltHumans uses premium third-party shipping and delivery services to ensure safe and timely delivery of your order. In the rare event of shipping-related damage, the third-party delivery service is responsible for addressing claims.
Process:
Inspect your order upon receipt and report any visible shipping damage to the delivery service within 48 hours of delivery.
Contact the delivery service directly to file a claim for damages. AltHumans is not liable for shipping damage but can provide order details to assist with your claim if needed. Contact us at support@althumans.com for assistance.
Documentation: Retain all packaging materials and take photos of the damage to support your claim with the delivery service.
5. Refunds
No refunds once the order is placed with the vendor.
Returns for manufacturing defects are handled by the manufacturer. Refund eligibility, processing times, and methods (e.g., original payment method, store credit) depend on the manufacturer's policies.
If a refund is approved by the manufacturer, it will be issued according to their terms, typically within their specified timeframe (e.g., 5-7 business days after approval).
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, as AltHumans does not cover shipping fees for returns.
